Unisoma completes the development of Ábaco, a new Coal Supply Chain Planning Tool for CST, an Arcelor Brasil S.A. Company. The newest AIMMS based application developed by Unisoma for CST supports the generation of integrated supply chain planning for different coal processes and companies.
The Center of Expertise in Economic Modeling and Studies (CEEMS) of GDF SUEZ has used the AIMMS modeling system to develop a management tool for an LNG terminal, ensuring fair treatment of the multiple users of the terminal, while maximizing production and flexibility.
Specialists at KEMA have developed an application named REMA-T to provide energy distribution companies such as Stedin (formerly known as Eneco Netbeheer) with optimized transformer replacement and maintenance schedules. REMA-T allows energy distribution companies to determine the optimal balance between the reliability of the power supply network and investment costs. KEMA has selected the AIMMS modeling system because of the easy interfacing with the front-end spreadsheets, convenient definition of optimization models and its powerful embedded solvers.
